Currently in England and Wales, celebrant led wedding ceremonies are symbolic rather than legally binding. You will need to make an appointment with a registry office only to complete the legal paperwork separately. This can be done either before the day, on the same day, or afterwards providing the legal marriage certificate, and allowing your special celebrant ceremony to really reflect you as a couple, the way you have chosen to celebrate.

Every ceremony is entirely bespoke, written over many hours after thorough research and thoughtfully crafted through storytelling, symbolism, and heartfelt expression — never a template, always uniquely yours and reflects you!
From your first enquiry to your first wedding kiss I’ll support you every step of the way with in-depth, supportive conversations, taking time to understand what makes your relationship special — how you met, the challenges you’ve overcome, the traditions that shape you, and the moments you wish to honour, your hopes and dreams. Next, I’ll start to design your Bespoke ceremony based on your story, family and friends’ memories..
After consultation with you, and your family, friends who are playing a role, I ’ll write a ceremony that reflects your story, culture, and values — from the words and rituals, tales and stories, fun times and laughter to make the day special..we can even include your furry friends..after all, they are family too !
Finally, We’ll Celebrate together your event in Perfect Harmony and enjoy.
All that’s left to do will be to relax and enjoy a beautifully delivered ceremony, surrounded by the people who matter most, as your story is shared and celebrated.

I will weave in cultural and spiritual rituals from across the world. These may include, but are not limited to, hand-tying, sand ceremonies, unity candles, knot tying, broom jumping, garland exchanges, breaking of the glass, and other African, Caribbean, European, Asian, or multicultural traditions — always explained with care and respect, so every guest feels connected to the moment.

This is an in-depth, relaxed conversation where I’ll get s to know you as a couple — how you met, what drew you together, the important moments you’ve shared, your cultural backgrounds, your personalities, and the atmosphere you want for your ceremony. I’ll use this meeting to understand what truly matters to you so that every element of your ceremony feels authentic and individually crafted.

Drawing from African, Caribbean, Asian, European and global wedding traditions, I’ll help you select cultural elements that feel meaningful to you and your families. These are explained respectfully during the ceremony so every guest understands the significance of what’s being honoured.

Unlike specifically registered venues, there is far more flexibility in where a ceremony can take place, at home, at a favourite location, a beach, park, at a special venue i.e. where you first met. The opportunities are endless…I’ll help source a suitable venue if you need ideas

The ‘signing’ of the marriage certificate can be done in the presence of the registrar before the day, on the day of the ceremony, or after the day of the the ceremony, to make the marriage legally binding. I’ll be able to support you with arranging this if needed

In terms of timescale, booking me is recommended 6-12 months in advance. Your date is secured once the booking fee and associated documentation is submitted. Shorter timescales may be possible, so please do check.

During the planning process I’ll work with you to identify alternative indoor arrangements, should the weather be unsuitable on the day. Whatever happens, you will have your beautiful ceremony !
