I will help a family create a meaningful and personal ceremony to say goodbye to their much loved pet.
During the ceremony there will be an opportunity to honour and celebrate their pet, their personality, quirky habits and special qualities.
The ceremony will provide a good opportunity to reflect on the positives and bring some closure.
I loves working with words, and will guide you if you don’t know what to say or how to say it, help you think of symbolic ways of celebrating your pet, and help children find their own ways of remembering their pet if they wish to be a part of the celebration
-
Absolutely !
I will welcome anyone who would like to share in the celebrations of your pet’s life, particularly if they had a connection with your pet.
They too will have an opportunity to offer a tribute, story or poem, whatever feels right.
-
I will work with you to collect as much information as possible about your pet, their personality, their habits, any naughty, funny events that they were responsible for, or involved with.
The more I have, the more I will be able to create a picture of your pet which will be so fitting, that anyone who didn’t know them would have a great picture of the kind of pet they were

Emotion can be overwhelming when talking about loved ones.
I will pause for a while or take a break until everyone is ready to continue.
It is quite okay to feel upset and tearful as it is a part of the grieving process.
It could take some time to come to terms with the loss of your pet especially if you have spent many years together.
-
Favourite toys, photos, blankets…nothing is off-limits.
Whatever you want to bring to remember your pet is welcome. Even companions, such as another dog or cat.
Photos are a favourite as well as collars, bowls or the odd ’chewed’ slipper !
-
Depending on the type of ceremony, it can take place at a pet crematorium, burial location, at home or other place where permitted, which holds special meaning.
-
Think about what a ceremony might mean for you, and what you hope to achieve by saying goodbye in this way.
I will be happy to listen, and talk it through with you to help you come to a decision.
If you would like to wait a while, that’s also an option, until you feel more settled and able to handle the emotion
